Happy 1 week Birthday Charley

Another Wednesday, another big snow. Only this time, a week later, at least we are home and cozy (and the storm was much smaller). Here's what we've been doing the past week or so...

Tessa has been kissing and hugging her baby brother. We're working on his name, but she prefers to just call him 'hi baby'. The other morning she couldn't find him cause he was still upstairs sleeping and she threw a fit..so I think she's getting used to having him around.


After a good hug and kiss she usually runs right back to her important activity of the moment, like eating goldfish with a spoon.

Charley has been eating a pooping like a pro. Who can resist that cute poopy face? He's been nursing about every 2 hrs except at night when he's been giving us 3-4 hour stretches of sleep...good boy!

Erin and her fam came over to visit last night and brought us chili. Tessa's officially in love with Erin's son Timmy and despite the 9 yr age difference she's decided he's her man. Really I think she just appreciates someone who will chase her for hours.

And after a week in our pj's and sweatpants, Charley and I both got dressed in real clothes this morning to head off to the doctor's. It was momentous enough to deserve a picture. Doesn't he look like a little man?

He had his 1 week appointment and the doctor declared him to be perfect. His weight is the same as on his birthday, 9lb 8oz which is great cause sometimes they can loose weight at first if they are not getting enough milk. (I hope this means that I am the one loosing weight, please please) The doctor poked and prodded him and said everything looks just right, so we go back in two weeks for another checkup.
