Tessa's 'punishment' for getting a little too rude and sassy mouthed to me and Jeremy in a restaurant. She had to finish it before she was allowed to watch any TV today.
Yesterday I saw two kids run across a parking lot and into a store while their mom was struggling to get a baby out of a carseat. She walked up to the store and a few minutes later came out with the kids. She made them walk all the way back to the car and then hold hands and walk with her back into the store. I was all, "Rock on, mama!" Too many times I think that parents skip over the discipline = teach aspect of parenting and just punish punish punish.
