Two things every midwestern kid learns to do in the summer time...break beans and shuck corn. The corn is still a little advanced for her, maybe next summer!
I remember doing this with my grandma. We would sit on the porch swing and snap beans and sip tea for hours! You guys should go out to the strawberry fiels and let her pick strawberries too. That was fun!
My husband since 2003...superdad, world traveler, food and wine lover, technological nerd, Christian, leader, overachiever, goofy, sensitve, addicted to scotch and guitar hero.
Tessa
Born in April 2007....sweet, kind hearted, loves preschool and her friends, eats like a pig and runs like a cheetah, ballerina and an awesome big sister.
Charley
Born in Jan 2009, the baby that was almost birthed on the side of the road....hugger, smiley, blonde, loves 'big kids' and playing, obsessed with taco bell cheesy rollups
